Terms of Business for Autos Japan

By proceeding with a purchase from Autos Japan, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern all sales and services provided. We encourage you to read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Agreement to Terms

Your engagement with Autos Japan for the purchase and export of vehicles and auto parts signifies your acceptance of these Terms of Trade. These terms apply to all transactions and services.

2. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, images, and data on the Autos Japan website and associated materials, is the exclusive property of Autos Japan. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or publication of this material is strictly prohibited without our explicit written permission.

3. Website Security & Prohibited Activities

Unauthorized access to Autos Japan's computer systems, servers, or website is strictly prohibited. Any suspected illegal activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

4. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

All transactions and these Terms of Trade shall be governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute, parties agree to first attempt resolution through mutual discussion. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be exclusively decided under Japanese law in the Tokyo District Court.

5. Vehicle and Parts Condition & Warranty

We endeavor to provide accurate descriptions and high-quality vehicles and parts. However, all sales are final.

Due to the nature of export and the absence of repair outlets outside Japan, Autos Japan does not offer any after-sales warranty for vehicles or parts once they have been shipped overseas. Any warranty provided applies only to vehicles and parts intended for use within Japan and becomes void upon international shipment. Buyers are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing all provided information (including descriptions, images, and specifications) before completing a purchase. We welcome your questions if any, and assure you of the accurate and honest answers.

6. Payment Terms

Full payment must be received by Autos Japan before any shipment arrangements can be made. All invoices are denominated in USD.  Payment is due upon receipt of the proforma invoice or as otherwise indicated. Invoices remaining unpaid for more than 48 hours may result in the automatic cancellation of your order.

7. Order Cancellation & Refunds

Once a vehicle or part sale has been agreed upon and payment has been made, the order cannot be canceled by the buyer under any circumstances.

If Autos Japan must cancel an order for any unforeseen reason, the total amount actually received (less any applicable bank fees incurred by us) will be refunded. No interest or additional compensation will be paid by Autos Japan in such cases.  Any refund will not exceed the principal amount we actually received, and no interest or other compensation will be paid on refunded amounts.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Shipments will be booked on the next available vessel. Shipping schedules may fluctuate due to seasonal demand, vessel availability, and shipping company capacity. Autos Japan is not responsible for any delays due to vessel availability or other factors outside of our direct control. Buyers are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all taxes, duties, customs clearance procedures, and import requirements at the destination port and country. Autos Japan provides no legal or regulatory advice regarding import regulations and is not liable for any non-compliance or issues arising from the buyer's failure to meet these obligations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Autos Japan's liability is strictly limited to the total amount actually received by us from the buyer for the specific transaction.

10. Amendments

Autos Japan reserves the right to modify these Terms of Trade at any time without prior notice. The terms in effect at the time of your transaction will govern that specific transaction.
