Purchasing a vehicle or auto part from Autos Japan is designed to be a straightforward and transparent process. Follow these simple steps to acquire your desired item and have it shipped worldwide.

Step 1: Decide on Your Purchase

Begin by identifying the vehicle or auto parts you need.

Step 2: Receive Your Proforma Invoice

Once you have decided on a specific vehicle or an auto part, we will prepare and send you a detailed Proforma Invoice. This document will outline the agreed price, payment terms, and estimated shipping costs to your specified port.

Step 3: Make Full Payment

To confirm your order and initiate the export process, full payment must be received by Autos Japan. All invoices are denominated in USD.

Step 4: Arrange Shipping

Once your full payment is confirmed, we will promptly arrange for your vehicle or parts to be shipped. We book on the next available vessel to your nearest port. We handle all necessary export procedures and documentation in Japan.

Step 5: Receive Your Documents

Within approximately 4 working days from the date the ship departs from Japan, all original shipping documents will be sent to you via a trackable courier service. These essential documents typically include:

• Proforma Invoice
• Bill of Sale
• Bill of Lading
• Marine Insurance (if applicable)
• Export Certificate and its English translation
• Pre-Shipment Inspection Report (if applicable)
• ISF (Importer Security Filing), if you are importing into the USA

If your country has any other specific documentation requirements, we will have discussed and confirmed these with you in advance.

Step 6: Clear Customs and Receive Your Order

Upon arrival at your destination port, you will be responsible for clearing customs, paying any applicable taxes and duties, and arranging local transportation to collect your vehicle. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your country's import regulations beforehand.
